Musician. Pinball collector. I also work in IT, which pays well and I'm genuinely good at it — but it's not the interesting part.
I've worked in IT for over 30 years. It's a good living and I'm competent at it — but if I'm being honest, it's mostly how I fund the things I actually care about.
Those things are music and pinball. I play guitar in a yacht rock band, which is exactly as fun as it sounds. I also collect and restore vintage pinball machines and play in local tournaments when I can.
This page exists for networking, project links, and connecting with people who share any of the above interests — IT included.
I'm good at this stuff. I've been doing it a long time and the paychecks have been consistent. That's a reasonable endorsement.
Side projects, experiments, and things that scratched a particular itch. Some useful, some just fun.
I've been playing guitar my whole life. At some point we formed a yacht rock band and it turned into something real. This is what I'd be doing even if IT didn't exist.
Vintage machines, competitive play, and the occasional late night of fixing a solenoid that had no business breaking. Second only to music in the rankings.
